Astronaut John Spartan has finally made it into space – only to discover that it is not all he had hoped. Stuck onboard with a ferocious alien and a moody computer, the reluctant crew of Auxiliary Transport Shuttle 4 must stave off Space Madness and work together to survive in the void. But when Spartan receives a distress signal from an attractive Astro-nette, his newfound mission to find and save her threatens to uncover the dark truth of Space itself. Some things are better left unknown…

Henry Carpenter – Writer
Henry Carpenter is a writer, composer and singer. From 2012 to 2014 he wrote and performed in the band Jimmy Getaway. His first theatrical work, ‘Measure for Measure: In Cabaret’, toured to the Bristol Shakespeare Festival in 2014. In 2014-15 he wrote book, music and lyrics of The Quentin Dentin Show, and performed in the lead role at Edinburgh Fringe. The show has since run at the Arts Theatre. Henry is currently writing an opera with Paul Garred (The Kooks) and writing and singing with the rock group Jelly. Summer Nights In Space is his second original musical.

Hannah Elsy – Producer
Hannah Elsy is an independent theatre producer. Summer Nights In Space is the second new musical that she has developed and produced. She has previously developed and produced rock musical The Quentin Dentin Show (Above The Arts, Edinburgh Fringe, Rich Mix). For the Bristol Shakespeare Festival in 2014, Hannah produced a tour of Measure For Measure: In Cabaret. Hannah runs The Lowdown- the only regular public scratch night for new musical theatre in London. She aims to produce entertainment of the highest quality, and loves exciting original work.
